Sunday 23rd August is 21st Sunday of the year.

After Holy Mass, there will be a gathering in the hall, with lunch ($20) and a screening of a Slovenian movie. The cost is $20 per person.

On Wednesday, August 26, at 11:00 AM, Holy Mass will be celebrated at Penrose Park to mark the 25th anniversary of the crowning of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Jasna Góra —the Mother of Mercy. The Mass will be celebrated by the Provincial of the Pauline Fathers, Fr. Jaroslaw Zan. Prior to the Mass, there will be a Holy Hour of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament starting at 9:30 AM.

At Marian Valley Holy Mass marking the 17th anniversary of the Marija Pomagaj (Mary Help of Christians) Chapel will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, at 11:00 AM.

Starting today, you can sign up for the lunch ($30; $15 for children under 12) on Patronal Feast Sunday, September 27; couples celebrating wedding anniversaries may also sign up for the annual anniversary celebration during Holy Mass. On that occasion, we will also express our gratitude to Father Darko for his 21 years of prayer and service among us. Fr. Darko is returning to Slovenia at the end of September to begin a new role as monastery superior in Kamnik.

Please let us know about any sick or elderly compatriots who are unable to attend our church services. Let us ensure they receive the sacraments, visit them, pray for them, and keep them informed about our community activities.
