Researching Slovenian Genealogy – Resources

For Slovenian descendants in Australia (or elsewhere) who are interested in family tree research and are looking for some internet links and information. The session will run as a PowerPoint presentation suitable for the entire group, so there will be limited opportunity to focus on individuals.
Topics to be covered:
I will use examples from the Littoral-Inner Carniola and Gorizia regions to explore the use of the following resources:
- Status Animarum (parish family books)
- Land registers
- Civil Records
- Franciscan Cadastral Records
- Virtual Archival Reading Room

- It would help me target particular areas if you would include the villages/towns you are interested in and the parishes they are in (if you know them).
Attendance is free, but only people who have registered by sending me their contact details will be allowed into the Zoom session to protect all attendees. The Zoom ID and passcode will be sent as confirmation of your booking.

Raziskovanje slovenskega rodoslovja – Viri

Za slovenske potomce (ali njihove partnerje), ki jih zanima raziskovanje družinskega drevesa ter iščejo internetne povezave in informacije. Srečanje bo potekalo v obliki PowerPoint predstavitve, namenjene celotni skupini, zato bo možnosti za osredotočanje na posameznike malo.
S primeri iz Primorsko-Notranjske in Goriške regije bomo preizkusili uporabo naslednjih virov:
- status animarum (knjiga duš)
- zemljiška knjiga
- državljanske evidence
- franciscejski kataster
- Virtualna arhivska čitalnica
Če se želite udeležiti srečanja, mi prosim po e-pošti pošljite naslednje podatke:
