The past week has marked the end of the group stage and the beginning of the knockout rounds, with several heavyweights confirming their status as genuine title contenders. Argentina, France, Brazil, Belgium and Mexico all progressed with convincing performances, while Paraguay and Morocco produced two of the biggest upsets by eliminating Germany and the Netherlands in dramatic penalty shootouts.
From an Australian perspective, the Socceroos showed tremendous resilience to earn a goalless draw with Paraguay in their final group match, securing a place in the Round of 32. Australia now faces Egypt in a knockout clash, with a place in the Round of 16 on the line.Individually, Lionel Messi continues to lead from the front for Argentina, Kylian Mbappé has been outstanding as France have cruised into the knockout stage, while Vinícius Júnior has been one of Brazil’s most influential players, combining pace, flair and creativity to help keep the five-time champions firmly among the tournament favourites.

- Help preserve an important part of our cultural traditions
No previous dance experience is required, and people of all ages are welcome to express their interest.

Please register your interest by return email.
If there is sufficient interest, we hope to launch regular classes in Canberra and Sydney in the near future.
Keeping Our Traditions Alive, One Dance Step at a Time
