The Historical Archives of Slovenian Australians (HASA NSW) held its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, November 29th, in the Father Valerijan Jenko Hall at St. Raphael’s Merrylands.

Kapelica Restoration & Memorial Stone project Rookwood Cemetery,

Pater Darko has, over the last few years, highlighted the need for restoration of the Kaplica. He has expressed his wish for a Memorial Stone to include the names of the dedicated priests and nuns who served at St Raphael’s.
A working group will be formed to raise funds and manage this project, with a completion date for All Souls Day November 2026.

Tedenske Novice
Ta nedelja je 2. adventna nedelja. Pri sv. maši poje mešani zbor.
V ponedeljek, je praznik Marijinega Brezmadežnega Spočetja. Sv. maši sta ob 9.30 dopoldne in ob 7.00 zvečer.
V četrtek, 11.12., bomo imeli adventno srečanje bolnih in upokojencev. Ob 10.00 dopoldne rožni venec in spovedovanje, ob 10.30 sv. maša. Po sv. maši boste lahko prejeli sveto bolniško maziljenje.
Avstralski frančiškani po 57 letih zapirajo svoj samostan v Campbelltownu – Maryfields-u. Samostan dobro poznamo, saj smo dolga leta prihajali na Maryfields h križevemu potu na prostem v postnem času. Bratje Frančiškani pa so prihajali kdaj maševat k nam v Merrylands.
Sestre klarise prav tako zapirajo tam svoj samostan “Bethlehem Monastery”. Samostan bodo zdaj prevzeli libanonci – Maronitski redovniki (Maronite Monks).
V petek, 12.12., ob 11.00 dopoldne bo v Bethlehem Monastery v Campbelltownu (narellan road) zahvalna sv. maša, ki jo bo vodil domači Škof Msgr. Brian Mascord iz Wollongonga.
Zadnjo sv. mašo v samostanu pa bo daroval novoizvoljeni avstralski frančiškanski provincial P. Steve Bliss v nedeljo, 14.12., ob 9.00 dopoldne.
V soboto je fatimski dan v Penrose Parku. Sv. mašo ob 11.00 dopoldne in popoldansko procesijo bo vodil P. Jeremy Santoso, Pavlinec, kaplan v župniji Sv. Marjete Alakok v Merrylandsu.
V Marian Valley, QLD, pa v soboto, 13.12., praznujejo fatimski dan in 30-letnico Marijinega Svetišča. Sv. mašo ob 11.00 dopoldne in pobožnost bosta vodila Škofa Msgr. Krzysztof Jozef Nykiel, uslužbenec dikasterija za nauk vere v Rimu, in Msgr. Columba Macbeth Green Osppe.

Adults: can choose from two advanced beginner classes, one intermediate class, or a 60-hour intensive beginner course.
